  • LLB, University of Reading

Ms Meerab Nawaz has recently completed her academic year as an LLB student at the University of Reading, where she has built a strong foundation in legal principles, supported by a growing portfolio of hands-on legal experience. Throughout her academic journey, she has demonstrated excellent research, analytical, and communication skills, complemented by leadership roles such as Course Representative and Deputy Head Police Cadet.

Meerab is currently assisting Mr Khan in criminal matters, where she has shown a strong aptitude for technical legal work. She can identify procedural and evidential flaws in prosecution cases and disclosure, using these insights to the strategic advantage of the defence. Her ability to assess case material with precision and attention to detail has made her an invaluable part of the team.

She also supports Mrs Uzma Moeen in commercial lease matters, where she is gaining practical experience in property law, including the review and drafting of lease documentation. This exposure has enhanced her understanding of commercial transactions and client-focused legal work.

As part of her holistic legal training, Meerab has been asked to assist with immigration matters, particularly in deportation cases. This has allowed her to further develop her skills in public law and broaden her exposure to sensitive, high-stakes legal issues.

Her prior experience with the Slough Police Cadets and Direct Assist Accountant demonstrates her adaptability and dedication across both legal and non-legal roles. Meerab brings a proactive and committed approach to her role as a paralegal and is enthusiastic about using her growing legal expertise to contribute meaningfully to the success of the firm and its clients.
