At Moeen & Co. Solicitors, we aim to offer competitive rates for our specialist legal services. Below is the chart outlining our service charges for your convenience and planning. Feel free to discuss the best price we can offer you on a fixed fee basis.
Our legal fee will depend on the seriousness of the offence and the complexity of the matter.

| Police Station attendance (fixed fee) | £500 - £800 (plus VAT) per Interview (If private paying) Depending on the seriousness of the offence, the complexity of the matter and the number of hours spent at the Police Station. | Magistrates' court first appearance/routine hearing/sentence | £500 - £1,000 (plus VAT) Depending on the seriousness of the offence and the complexity of the matter. (You should check if you are eligible for legal aid) |
| Trial at magistrate courts (starting fee) | £1,500 - £5,000 (plus VAT) plus disbursements Depending on the seriousness of the offence and the complexity of the matter. (You should check if you are eligible for legal aid) |

| Crown Court guilty plea (starting fee) | £2000 - £5,000 (plus VAT) plus disbursements Depending on the seriousness of the offence and the complexity of the matter. (You can also check if you are eligible for legal aid) |
| Crown Court not guilty plea | £5,000 to £30,000 (plus VAT) plus disbursements Depending on the seriousness of the offence, the complexity of the matter and the number of pages count. For more complex matters, an hourly fee may apply. (You should check if you are eligible for legal aid.) |
Hourly Charges
When dealing with matters where we charge an hourly rate, we will be pleased to give you clear and open advice about the costs that you will incur in instructing us to act on your behalf. Our hourly fees will be calculated using the below hourly rates and will depend on the level of experience of the solicitor or Fee earner dealing with your matter and the complexity of the matter.
Details of the hourly rates are as under:
- Hourly Rate of Solicitor (Grade A): £350.00 plus VAT per hour
- Hourly Rate of Solicitor (Grade B): £250.00 plus VAT per hour
- Hourly Rate of Trainee/Paralegal: £150.00 plus VAT per hour
However, we are happy to discuss our fee estimates and hourly rates with you to give a closer estimate of the likely costs bearing in mind the level and complexity of your case.
